History Themed Nature Walk – June 19

It is the last of a series of hikes, led by one of our well-known hiker/historians from the area, Art Weaver.  The hike will take participants up the Niagara Escarpment and along the crest to Beamer Memorial Conservation Area.

There will be breathtaking scenery and participants will see Beamer Falls and explore a mysterious concrete structure. Hikers will find a new appreciation for the escarpment and the many interesting fact’s that Art will share with them about the area and the history!  It’s a great way to get some exercise and to make new friends while learning from a pro!

The hike is Saturday, June 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and costs $35 per person or $31.50 if you are a Brock Alumni. Students will be leaving from the Grimsby area to begin the hike. Bruce Trail Beamer Point (Click here for flyer).
